I share a similar set as you Cp cept I have and Hp, 1 less gig of ram and watching/playing my favorite games on a samsung 27 inch SyncMaster Lcd "Crysis Blows"!!  Pick up "Never Winter Nights 2",  cut on all the High end abilities for Cp. Play the game get all the spells then...  Try firing a magic missle spell (think Hell fire missles but they lock on enemies) at everything.  its a "WOW"!!  Even with all this computating power (and some smoke from Cp)  lol,  Theres slow down/lag  Its KEWL to watch though.

It's a piece of shit...

I won't list the specs...

The one I'm using right now is:

AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+ OC'd to 2.5 GHz
MSI K8N Platinum SLI Mobo
2 GB OCZ Platinum DDR400 Memory
BFG nVidia 7900GT OC 256 MB (too lazy to check exactly what I have it OC'd to :P)
19" Samsung 930B
Logitech Z-250 Stereo Speakers with sub
Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit

The one I game on is:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 OC'd to 3.8 GHz
eVGA 750i SLi FTW Mobo
4 GB OCZ Fatality Series DDR2-1066
eVGA 9800GTX+ OC 512 MB (again too lazy to check what I've OC'd it to)
22" Samsung 225BW or my Samsung LN46A950 HDTV depending on what I'm playing
Logitech Z-5500 Speakers or Sennheiser Gaming headset depending on what I'm playing
G11 and MX510 keyboard and mouse

I know the last few categories don't add to the 'power' of the machine but they do add to the overall gaming experience so I decided to throw them in. Neither system is ridiculous but for the prices I built them for, they were a steal. The second one only cost $600 to build and I'm from Canada, eh? So the cost of those parts really added up to ~$1000 when I built the thing.

As for the first one, it's purely for productivity and I built it 5 years ago and upgraded the graphics card 3 years ago.

Oh and to follow the trend.. YES I CAN PLAY CRYSIS!!! :)

It's a 5 year old laptop that is on the very limits of being able to play grand theft auto San Andreas, (I have not tested the game yet so I don't know if it does play it, but the minimum requirements for the game are similar to what my laptop has)

Intel core 2 duo 3 Ghz
2X SLI 8800GT video cards 512mb each
4gig DDR2 ram running at 800mhz
Windows XP Pro SP3.

Got this about a year ago.

This is off topic slightly but I'm really hoping they will release Starcraft 2 this year. Can't wait to run that on maximum settings. From what I've heard it should be very scalable. So even though Blizzard is aiming for the average PC they will have higher end PCs in mind as well.
