The one I'm using right now is:

AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+ OC'd to 2.5 GHz
MSI K8N Platinum SLI Mobo
2 GB OCZ Platinum DDR400 Memory
BFG nVidia 7900GT OC 256 MB (too lazy to check exactly what I have it OC'd to :P)
19" Samsung 930B
Logitech Z-250 Stereo Speakers with sub
Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit

The one I game on is:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 OC'd to 3.8 GHz
eVGA 750i SLi FTW Mobo
4 GB OCZ Fatality Series DDR2-1066
eVGA 9800GTX+ OC 512 MB (again too lazy to check what I've OC'd it to)
22" Samsung 225BW or my Samsung LN46A950 HDTV depending on what I'm playing
Logitech Z-5500 Speakers or Sennheiser Gaming headset depending on what I'm playing
G11 and MX510 keyboard and mouse

I know the last few categories don't add to the 'power' of the machine but they do add to the overall gaming experience so I decided to throw them in. Neither system is ridiculous but for the prices I built them for, they were a steal. The second one only cost $600 to build and I'm from Canada, eh? So the cost of those parts really added up to ~$1000 when I built the thing.

As for the first one, it's purely for productivity and I built it 5 years ago and upgraded the graphics card 3 years ago.

Oh and to follow the trend.. YES I CAN PLAY CRYSIS!!! :)
