Forums - Sony - Dutch OPM reviews inFamous. 83/100: Too many errors.

83/100 is a good score guys. Overall score at the moment is 8.9 with this added in.

Dutch OPM = 83/100
Game of Honor = 9.2/10
IGN AU = 8.6/10
IGN US = 9.2/10
IGN UK = 9.0/10
CGReviews = 8.7/10

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Metacritic only include english reviews, don't they?

83 is not bad but I see too many errors on their reviews hehe

If the bad translation is not to your liking, find the original source and read the Dutch version...

Anyway, good to see infamous getting good reviews

Gamerankings has English reviews only I believe. Metacritic is more of a "pick and choose" thing. You'll find blog scores I believe on there too.

I would personally suggest N4G. Instead of English only or the pick and choose model they just add every review score in.

Expecting a 7/10 from Edge.

^this. It could even be lower

Yeah, they could potentially go as low as 5/10...

83 is not a bad score. From what practically every review I've seen/read, they all say that the game is really fun but there are some technical issues like pop ins and some rare instances of frame rate dipping. That's fine by me, I never been much of a "technical gamer," so as long as the game is fun and has a good storyline, I'm game.

Edit: Oh and this has technical issues like pop ins because there IS NO LOADING!. Once you start, you can finish the game without seeing one loading screen (like Uncharted did). What open world sandbox game has had this level of scale (especially vertically) without loading, that's pretty sweet if you ask me.

No loading == streaming, can be tricky and pop in can be an issue.   What other open world sandbox game has had this level of scale (especially vertically)... Crackdown, from Feb, 2007.

Nothing against inFamous, sounds fantastic.  Just sayin.

I only played Crackdown for a little bit, but IIRC, wasn't there loading in it? I know that Crackdown is probably bigger in scale (vertically) than inFAMOUS, but that wasn't my point.

Looks like the first realy honest review... interesting.

Maybe would have got ~90 if they spent a little more time fixing the errors before release.

Should end up ~90 on Meta.
