Congrats :p . I've had my 42 " 1080P Sony Bravia for 18 Months now. It still amazes me :p

you've made me feel sad nao. T.T you higher end mofo. :P

lol. What make and model did you get?

Element - 32 " - 720p only had for about a 3 to 4 days.

I dont know the brand but its really nice imo. plus i heard 720p is fine for most games unless its exclusive so..

lol, cheapo.

That's a Circuit City brand HD television. Enjoy it!

:O thats just mean.....

I didn't mean it that way. I worked at CC until they closed down, so I have good history with Element.

:P thing is i didn't pay a dime, my dad did.

How is Element Outlaw? i like the name, it sounds cool, but hows the overall quality compared to other HDTV's?

I worked CC 5 years ago... man those were good times... i remember waiting in line for the first PSPs on the day those came out.....mmmmmm.... cameras/PC 4 life baby!

I hated going back to my 32" tv, but i had to cause my brother moved out and took his 52" hdtv which i had my wii connected to. Im saving up for one though taking a long time. My dad bought one recently and its a 42" looks good. now me and my dad can watch baseball in HD.

Cool, I have a 102" plasma TV, it gets the job done.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)
Nintendo ID: Mako91                  3DS code: 4167-4543-6089

HOLY shitake mushrooms thats a monster of a TV 102"!!?

Around the Network

Sometimes being an early adapter sucks. I have a 46 inch 720p samsung that i bought 5 years ago. Now i can get a 50+ inch at 1080p for the same price i payed back then. I'm jealous of you 1080p people.

^ from guy that had dial up for ages XD you do have priorities.

Well, standalone it's not bad at all!

Do you want a real answer comparing to other HDTVs?

About time you realized that...

People (including me) are gaming in HD since 2005 in their living rooms.

Better late than never.
Welcome.

I'm still gaming on a 26" SD TV that sometimes doesn't work.

Oldschool!

I do that with my PS2.

High five!

lol!

but really, can PS2's or any last gen system for that matter be used with HDTV's or no?

Not so sure about the amount of PS2 games that support it but a fair number of Gamcube and Xbox games support at least 480p. I've been gaming on a HDTV since 2003 and the first time i played F-Zero GX in 480p and 16:9 on my HDTV i was still blown away.  Of course it's not SD-HD difference but if you go from a crap SD TV to a good HD TV you will notice the difference even with SD sources.  However, going from a good SD TV to a cheap LCD monitor or HD TV and you may find that you've taken a step backwards.
