Ahh Nintendo. Must you too buy into the notion that only Wii games with peripherals sell?!

Err......I wouldn't really call it a peripheral. Its a separate part of the actual controller.
Which is stupid on Ninty part. They really need to change the packaging of their controllers and lower price.

Quiet you. If the Balance Board (Wii Fit) and the Wii Remote (Wii Play) get lumped in as "peripherals" by the haters, then "peripherals" they are, dammit!

I was going to buy it anyway. This is just a bonus.

Am I the only one who already has 4 remotes and 4 nunchucks, and has used all 4 at once? I even did that the week the Wii came out. 4 player Red Steel baby.

I have several friends with Wii consoles so usually when we have a Wii party, we have way more than 4 between all of us.  No need to always have four when most of the people you play with bring 1 or 2 of their own.

More are always welcome though.

Its a rip-off to the consumer.

And what would happen if I wasn't fine with it like you are?  I would continue to get ignored except by the other people who are also getting ignored by the people that actually matter.

I'm really not trying to villainize Nintendo, that's just how things are in the world.
