Amazing thing is that everyone that purchase Prologue will purchase a new PS3 for the full version of GT5
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Those are shipment figures, so they do not include downloads.
GT4 is still at 10.57 million, much like it was as of their June 2008 numbers:
| GRAN TURISMO 4 (Europe) | 6,180 | 2005/03/09 |
| GRAN TURISMO 4 (North America) | 2,960 | 2005/02/22 |
| GRAN TURISMO 4 (Asia) | 170 | 2004/12/28 2005/03/10** |
| GRAN TURISMO 4 (Japan) | 1,260 | 2004/12/28 |
It's safe to say they've sold damn near all 10.570 million copies to consumers by this point, so the game is probably undertracked by almost a million.
I've been saying this for months now, but usually get ignored. I guess the higher ups are too busy getting the current numbers out and working on VGChartz 2.0 to update the numbers.
I can't wait for VGChartz 2.0.

hasn't it been available for four times as long though? j/k
also, NA availability seems to have given it a nice boost too.

Proud Sony Rear Admiral
