Fable and Infamous are like two drops of water judging from the video reviews.

The game looks very well done, better than my personal expectations!

Band in the middle of my "9.0-9.4" prediction!

UK was pretty close, 9.2/10, but AU gave it 8.6 (not that I give a rat's arse what the people who said that Mirror's Edge was better than MGS4 think)

I'm calling:

9 from GameSpot

9 from EuroGamer

8 from Edge (maybe 7)

A- from 1UP

9.0 from VGC

4.5/5 from OPM US

Nice score, but I don't really trust IGN. They seem to give a lot of PS3 games high scores.

So what? Are the games they give high scores to, underperforming, bad games? And what PS3 games do you speak of?

 

Motorstorm, Resistance, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, LBP, Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, etc. I just don't trust them. None of those games, except for maybe one, are 9/10 games for me.

I would say that

Killzone 2

LBP

Valkyria Chronicles

MGS4

and Uncharted are deserving of the scores they got.

MotorStorm, Resistance, R2 and Folklore were overrated.

Oh, and you're forgetting how they gave Heavenly Sword a 7 and MLB 09 an 8.7. They don't always overrate PS3 exclusives. They are just generous with their scores, on all platforms.

Wait, where'd you get the 9 hours from? For Fable II or InFamous?

9.5 Lasting Appeal
It took me about 25 hours to go through both storylines, but I've put in a total of 30 hours searching for Blast Shards and my Platinum Trophy. All that, and this still isn't old.

Assuming the same time for each storyline, that'd be about 12.5 hours for one playthrough. That's a decent length; even 9 isn't too bad.

You're right, 9 ain't bad...but the game is about 9 hours long.

...and yes, this game was based in part on Fable, and many of the "powers" are reskinned Fable II spells. Even the leveling system is very similar.

That said, feel free to form your own opinions, and leave me to my own.

lol, yep, two identical drops of water.

That said, it's not identical, but is obviously draws influence from Fable, and Fable II. Look at it again, and go look up some Fable II gameplay videos. Link em here, and let everyone decide for themselves. Pick random ones. Dare ya.
