i'll be gettin the new psp slim on my birthday which comes in 11 days... i'll wait for a DS when dragon quest 9 comes out

Who cares about software sales?? He was stating that the PSP has some excellent titles for the system.


 Sony obviously cares about software sales becuase its the main reason the PSP is losing out to third party developers and the DS. Sure the PSP has great titles, but the DS has much more, sorry they're not your type of games but software sales are what drive Hardware sales for the DS, not a handful of fanboy dream games that keep the "will buy a sony product no matter what" crowd happy.


I don't care as a user. If Sony brings the games. I buy. They don't it suffers. Sales are not good anyway because like I said in previous threads. A consumer might of bought the a system one day and took it back the next day, but Gamestop or Best Buy still records that as a buy. But genrally and technically speaking that console lost a sale.


 You probably also don't care as a user that people can pirate games damaging PSP sales even further limiting what games can actually come to the PSP in the future and the livelihood of the PSP itself. Living in the moment as a gamer is just an excuse, nothing more.


And who fought is that the user. For me I don't give a damn. If I see Sony. I said if I see Sony doesn't bring any games out I jump ship. But seeing they are I'm a proud owner of the PSP. Just drop this subject cause its getting annoying and we are getting off topic. If you want the victory, you won. Feel better now?

That was sarcasm, Cell phone games are perhaps the worst thing to happen to gaming since the Virtual boy. 

You play them with cell phone minutes (you pay to play) and have to keep your celphone plugged in to keep it

from raping the battery defeating any advantage of portability. 


Oh!.....lol...my fought I thought you were serious for a minute. But your right Madden NFL 07 drained my phone down last year when I had that game. But seeing MGS and Kingdom Hearts on a phone is second thought.


 No, its even more stupid with MGS and KH on a cell phone because you could just put it on the PSP instead of alienating it to an inconvenient format that is only available to play in Japan.


Well.....well your right on that part. Having those games on the PSP would be nice. But the cell phone market is strong over there in Japan.


That doesn't justify anything, its just an excuse why integral parts of game franchises are lost forever to most fans on an asinine backwards format that is in every respect a failure of a gaming device.


Do me a favor and go to Japan and switch their market, so it fits your needs...k?


 Do me a favor and stop defending poor decisions in gaming just because they're Sony backed franchises.

 Could you perhaps provide me with a source showing just how powerful the Cellphone market is? And why are the only developers I see putting any real effort into unique Cell Phone IPs Konami and Square Enix, both the lap dogs of Sony?

why not go multi-plat though and release the game as a PSN download as well though?

Heh of course I also hate PSP and DS games as well, i'm just not a fan of portable gaming.  I can deal with the actual portable gaming systems though.

You will be satisfied. But you should get a screen protector like I did mine today. So the screen can be scratch free.

 An article that is five years old and only talks about how GBA ports are big on cellphones. How does that really adress the issue of current market trends. Also, how does it explain Konami and Square Enix being the only developers putting unique IPs on cell phones? This article only talks about the draw of ports and mini-games unique to cell-phones, it in no way shows how developers are forced to concede to the Cell-phone market.

How about a little more recent source, perhaps one that adresses the phenomenon of current gen games?

Wait.....wat?? I'm a little tired and its 11:30pm here in America. You said you hate portable gaming but you can deal with the acutal portable gaming systems. Meaning you only like the systems and not the games?

I don't understand how this turned into a war. DS and PSP got KH games, it's spread out. Only fanboys are trying to claim that they "won" or that one game is "bigger" than the other. They're all spinoffs and the most important KH to come will be KH3. If anyone lost it's all of us here, because my prediction about the cellphone game came true and we'll most likely NEVER get to play it. Seriously, how many people are still waiting on Before Crisis?

Either way, I'm getting both games.

The DS's library keeps growing. Now all I need is Fire Emblem DS and I'll be happy. Nintendo, don't keep me waiting too long. Wait a minute. I will not be happy. My DS collection is starting to become too large. So many games and So little time.
