UPDATE: The second trailer has been shown, but no gameplay. It was only merely the story teaser, but did confirm a Christmas 2009 date. It also confirmed that it will be on PLAYSTATION 3. While this maybe obvious, Ubisoft never confirmed the platforms for the game yet.

Original Story: GOONL!NE can confirm that a new trailer of Assassins Creed 2 has been shown and is infact the first of two to be shown tonight. The trailer was shown in two parts during an ad break for The Da Vinci Code, as part of Five’s Da Vinci weekend in the UK.

The first part was pretty much stuff from the old trailers, but did feature concept art of Enzo, the new main character. The second half showed him again, followed then by the game’s logo and website. However, this is only the first of two, the first gameplay trailer is due to show during the movie as well.

Sounds interesting, but ive never heard of this site.

Also, i highly doubt the exclusivity... didnt Ubisoft say it would be on "all current gen consoles"?

Its will be on PS360. I cant imagine Sony getting exclusivity.

Not going to happen. At the Ubisoft site you can actually see them mentioning Xbox 360 as the platform. (and weirdly enough only Xbox 360). Ubisoft sold millions of copies of the first one on Microsofts console, so why would Ubisoft not release it on that platform unless Sony pays them 100s of millions of dollars?

Well thats interesting, the ubisoft site only mentions the XBOX 360 for assassins creed II

They already said it will be on all current gen consoles, I doubt the Wii, but PS3 and 360 for sure.
This game will not go exclusive.

Googled this, watch it, at the end he says "Assassins creed 2 will be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC."

I assume Sony is just funding the adverts

Doubt Ubisoft will make it PS3 exclusive, 360 is their choice of money making console.

With recent big name titles PS3 has had the edge over 360...

But if anything the game should be Multiplat.
