Ok, I'll step up... I couldn't believe that anyone (SDF people) could possibly be that naive, but if you read some of the posts by pimply-faced teenagers on some of the "legit" forums, they say some crazy stuff that is about as whack as SDF. I assumed the site was "real" in the sense that it had a goofball kid running it and said kid spewed crap he knew was bogus but said it anyway. So I guess in that sense I never took it serious but I didn't think the site was a parody because it seemed so much effort went into it. If one was going to parody, why not just create a cartoon or something... man, that's a lot of work.

In the end, if it is all parody, the amount of effort going into that site has to qualify the perp as the worst fanboy in existence.

Am I one of the few people who actually thought the SDF website was quite amusing? Whoever assumed the site was serious needs a good hard slap and a lesson in humour.

People do funny things on the internet.  Their antics just never cease to amuse me.

Posts like this are actually reasons why I thought there was like a 30% chance of that site being real.

Additional breaking news:

Stephen Colbert is not actually a hardline conservative! In fact, he's quite liberal! He's a fraud! 

SDF just went from lame to total 100% awesomeness in my eyes.

 How dare you!  Steven Colbert loves his country!  He would never be seen with those communist liberals!

 Apparently in CKs mind if one Wii fan says something they have all said it.  Which is of course ironic since the very point of this seems to be to kill the credibility of the site so PS3 fans don't get lumped in. And just for the record, it wasn't only Wii fans who thought it was real, iirc there were 360 and PS3 fans in that thread who believed it also.  

In any case, its not like people can't change their mind over time.  The first SDF thread here was pretty out there but somewhat believable.  Once the second and third hit most people figured out what was going on.  Its not like there is some magic "Wii Fan Switchboard" where we all simulataneously set our beliefs with the turn of a dial as a group.

You did this same sort of lumping with Boogie recently too, whats the deal?  2 or 3 people saying something in a thread a week or more ago does not mean everyone believes it. 

In any case, the site (SDF) is definitely a fake, but it is still hilarious.  Not only the crazy over the top "fanboyish" things they post/say but the people who comment on the site and take it seriously (probably the funnier of the two)
