A good decision on Radioshack's part getting in on the videogame market and another good decision to avoid the Sony product due to its lack of appeal (God knows they have enough shit that doesn't sell). As said though this won't hurt Sony but that's not what this thread is about. It's about retailers wisening up to market trends, even if that retailer is only the lowly Radioshack. |
PS3's days are numbered. Time to pack it up and throw it out the window. |
Hrmmmm, the PS3 is a dissapointing flop who forced its creator to resign in shame and has cost Sony dearly sending the whole company into a tailspin forcing them to pawn off investments (factories, plants, properties) to foot the bill while the newer 80gb version has not only abandoned Sony's dedication to 100% backwards compatibility but has nullified their half-hearted attempt at a price cut. Not to mention losing almost all of their exclusive third party support and, well, just third party support in general. Six-Axis is also another golden prospect and I'm sure Blu Ray won't be relegated to obscuirity by industry standardized dual format support or the emergence of Red-Ray at all.
Obviously the PS3 will be a slam dunk success even despite the fact its already beyond the point of ever turning a noteworthy profit in its alleged ten year life span and with must have games like Lair and Heavenly Sword, who can blame people for being optimistic. Even though Japan has basically said no to "Hardcore" gaming in every imagineable respect, I'm sure they'll still be the avenue for the PS3's success over the 360 and Wii, because you know the PSP has clearly shown us the strength of of the Sony brand name over Nintendo's in Japan.
Radioshack isn't a potential tip of the iceberg at all, it's obviously a non factor and should be ignored. Lock this thread please, I fear it may portray the PS3 in a negative light.
