I think it's offical that Factor 5 will not be making anymore Sony games after those comments..... absurd.

God damn they are really imploding lately.

Its kinda funny.

Warhawk was falling apart all the rumors the game would be canceled then team walking away forming a new whatever yet the dude pulled off a great game (forgot his name)

While F5 had everything going for them with Lair and they fucked it up so bad.

Is that irony ?

What is this guy's issue? He just needs to move on and tried to make up for Lair.

"I see motion-sensing as a complimentary additional new step in terms of controls and where it fits you should use it and where it doesn’t fit, don’t force it. Please don’t force it."

Um, Warhawk's controls are optional. Lair's are not. His comment applies to his game.

His problem seems to be the same as Uwe Boll's, which I am about to take a huge risk and assume that it is not lack of talent, but an inability to listen to criticism, and look at his work objectively, so therefore hone his craft by learning from mistakes.*

Plus he can't keep his story straight. Either the game was cursed, or the game came out right but not for hardcore gamers, or the game turned out right for everyone. I say he should have stuck with the first story. Then he could admit the game turned out wrong, but state his team was not giving up, and working on getting the game right through patches. Then he could joke they would hire an exorcist before making the sequel.

*Yes, I'm claiming Uwe Boll might have some talent in there. Some online movie review sites, such as the affiliates in the B-Masters' Cabal (http://www.b-masters.com/), have pointed out some of his films have shown hints of promise of a good director, such as moments in Alone in the Dark. So if Uwe Boll actually tried to better himself by looking at his work and seeing what could be improved, he could actually improve himself, instead of just putting on this "No one understands my work," crap.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I actually remember all the controversy surrounding Warhawk. First it would be a PSN game only, then the Incognito head, Scott Campbell, announced he'd be leaving to start a company with David Jaffe. Sure enough, Warhawk hit the ground running.

Julian doesn't know diddly. I make the best Sony games. Pfft. 'sif Factor 4.9 does.

No, Uwe Boll does not have talent. I've seen every one of his films but Postal, and there is not a single redeeming moment in any of them. I'm not joking - they are, from beginning to end, irretrievably bad. I'm not fond of Factor 5 or Julian Eggrebrecht, but comparing them to Uwe Boll in any way but nationality and fondness for videogames is just horribly cruel and degrading.

Read my comment again. The comment is about potential talent, as in if he actually was objective about his work, and stopped pretending his crap is good enough and everyone else is wrong. See the difference?
