5. Wu-Tang: Shoalin Style (Playstation 1)

Although I’m sure people will remember the game instantly once mentioned, it’s easy to forget that this was really the first game based on big named hip hop personalities. The fact that it was a fighting game as well gave it a lot of edge. Without this game, who knows if games such as the Def Jam series would have came so soon.
4. Destruction Derby (Playstation 1, Sega Saturn)

This game was great, and can you imagine it they pulled of a next generation version of this game? Games relating to cars are so similar these days that I feel they need to mix it up a little, and doing another destruction derby may be something Interesting.
3. California Games (Too Many To Name)

This was a classic game; It was originally made for the Apple 2 and the Commodore 64, but was ported over to many other commercial game systems such as the Sega Genesis and the Nes. The game featured many sports that were popular in its time such ass freestyle footbag, flying disc and roller skating. Every game felt like a joy to play too.
2. Urban Chaos (PC, Playstation 1, Dreamcast)

This game is defiantly one I miss playing, It was such a great game for its time also and I feel as though it could easily be brought back to the current gen. Crackdown kind of reminded me of this game. This game came way before free roam sandbox games were all so popular and was in full 3D, whilst at this time Grand Theft Auto was still in it’s birds eye view stage. If you didn’t play this, it’s worth digging in the crates for.
1. Herzog Zewi (Sega Genesis/Megadrive)

It hurts my heart that people either don’t know, or don’t remember this game because it was a great two-player game. Warhawk for the Playstation 3 reminds me so much of this game that it’s unbelievable, but Herzog Zewi defiantly gave birth to much of Warhawk’s game play elements. It was a great strategy game where your objective was to blow up the other player (or your computer opponent’s) base, but at the same time you had to make sure your base was well guarded with sentries. There were zones you could take over across the huge maps, and just like in Warhawk you could amerce in ground or air combat. If you appreciate classic games, do yourself a favor and go check out this one.
