Considering the Wii is the top selling current generation console in the U.S. the game isn't meeting sales expectations. If it was EA wouldn't be continually trying to retool that version of the game in the hopes of better sales.

Lets pull two games out of our ass which we obviously never played! MadWorld is only short on the first normal playthrough the hard difficulty is a bitch, and a much more acceptable length because of it, but Platinum wanted to make a game people could actually beat instead of dropping players in head first.
House of the Dead is a rail shooter game, they've never been made for length, they were ment to be played at an arcade and last you up to about 2 hours max, then you'd walk away and come back whenever you wanted to beat your high score, play with a friend, etc. House of the Dead Overkill translates that nicely with about the same amount of playtime if you go right through the game, then you try to top your scores, buy more upgrades, play with friends, etc. the game is as long as you make it because rail shooters are meant to be replayed. It's like getting all the tracks in a racing game and going WTF IS THIS! THE LENGTH IS SHIT.
You're just cherry picking to cover up the trolling and people asking for quality, for which EA has finally responded by giving the Wii one of their big new franchises and actually put a nice budget behind it. Then stating because EA has lost so much money they're shifting more focus on the Wii... I wonder why they'd be shifting focus if their focus already was on the Wii ![]()

You don't know anything about EA's expectations so I suggest you don't mention it.

and we rarely know about any publisher's expectation, yet we mention them all the times. Legend is right, EA is trying very hard to make Madden successful in the most successful console.

Do I really need to mention the 07 and 08 versions to you? I thought you were smarther than that.
Madden is an American sport, hence why it is most dominant of the percieved most American console (Xbox 360). The Xbox 1 version of the game is still selling too.
The PS2 version was the best-selling one last gen, but the userbasr was WAY too large for the Xbox1 version to compete with. The 360 is beating the PS3 in America now in terms of userbase, so you see the correlation.
As for the Wii version of Madden 09, it has sold 840,000 copies the last time I checked. As opposed to Madden 08 on the Wii which has been out 50+ weeks longer, I say 09 is doing very well; better than Madden's have ever done on Nintendo systems for a LONG time.
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
