Lets pull two games out of our ass which we obviously never played! MadWorld is only short on the first normal playthrough the hard difficulty is a bitch, and a much more acceptable length because of it, but Platinum wanted to make a game people could actually beat instead of dropping players in head first.
House of the Dead is a rail shooter game, they've never been made for length, they were ment to be played at an arcade and last you up to about 2 hours max, then you'd walk away and come back whenever you wanted to beat your high score, play with a friend, etc. House of the Dead Overkill translates that nicely with about the same amount of playtime if you go right through the game, then you try to top your scores, buy more upgrades, play with friends, etc. the game is as long as you make it because rail shooters are meant to be replayed. It's like getting all the tracks in a racing game and going WTF IS THIS! THE LENGTH IS SHIT.
You're just cherry picking to cover up the trolling and people asking for quality, for which EA has finally responded by giving the Wii one of their big new franchises and actually put a nice budget behind it. Then stating because EA has lost so much money they're shifting more focus on the Wii... I wonder why they'd be shifting focus if their focus already was on the Wii ![]()
