It's like a year ago when some Wii fanboys made a big deal about some shorter length HD games and blamed it on HD. Hopefully with games like MadWorld and House of the Dead: Overkill they are finally seeing their mistaken assumption.

They still do the same thing with hardcore games on the Wii and always blame the publisher when sales don't meet expectations. For example take EA Sport's Madden. They made it like its HD counterparts, met low sales, and some Wii fanboys blamed it on EA not trying to appeal to the Wii's audience. EA then very obviously tries to do just that the next year and when sales again didn't meet expectations some found another excuse for it.  It's always the publishers fault for some people.

Maybe they'll eventually realize that it's not the publisher fault at all and the blame lies with the make up of the Wii's installed base.

Lets pull two games out of our ass which we obviously never played!  MadWorld is only short on the first normal playthrough the hard difficulty is a bitch, and a much more acceptable length because of it, but Platinum wanted to make a game people could actually beat instead of dropping players in head first.

House of the Dead is a rail shooter game, they've never been made for length, they were ment to be played at an arcade and last you up to about 2 hours max, then you'd walk away and come back whenever you wanted to beat your high score, play with a friend, etc.  House of the Dead Overkill translates that nicely with about the same amount of playtime if you go right through the game, then you try to top your scores, buy more upgrades, play with friends, etc.  the game is as long as you make it because rail shooters are meant to be replayed.  It's like getting all the tracks in a racing game and going WTF IS THIS! THE LENGTH IS SHIT.

You're just cherry picking to cover up the trolling and people asking for quality, for which EA has finally responded by giving the Wii one of their big new franchises and actually put a nice budget behind it.  Then stating because EA has lost so much money they're shifting more focus on the Wii... I wonder why they'd be shifting focus if their focus already was on the Wii
