Wow, sounds like 360 sales are mightily impressive last week from what ioi was saying. I wonder if that will be as well as or to the detriment of this week and next week (Halo 3 week).

I can't imagine PS3 sales falling below 40K for the week, so its most likely Xbox 360 sales which have jumped to around 135K for the week...... I guess Wii is having a great week to still lead around 140K.
Or perhaps maybe a tougher fall for PS3 down to 35K for week, in which cause Xbox could hit 115K and double and Wii at 120K to lead. That sounds more realistic.

remember he said almost 3:1..
if you take NPD's numbers (143k if you include canada) that's only an average of 35k a week. If i were to take a guess I would say that 360 is at around 90-100k while Wii is at 110k for the updates coming tonight.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Whats odd is that the PS3 had some major games come out recently
What were the systems weekly numers at its lowest? 25k? Are things back to where they were now that the price cut surg is over?

"Why do they call it the xbox 360? Because when you see it, you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away"
360 will always be on top of the PS3. PS3 will have a tough time getting close to the 360 this year, maybe next year they will have a chance, but knowing that Microsoft won't allow it.

are not a weekly thing??
or overall worldwide??
Wow. Ioi said in another thread that Wii and PS3 both fell and the 360 got a fair boost. Surely the PS3 cant be far under 50000? That would be abysmal this close to the holidays just 6 weeks after a $100 price drop

PS3 has been performing fairly well in europe and okay in Japan, but I think everyone can agree its doing very poorly in North America. Its never tracked higher then the Xbox 360 on a week to week basis beyond the launch months and over the spring it got stomped.
At the same point in time after Launch XBox 360 had 2.8 Million Sold whereas PS3 has just 2.0 Million Sold thats a pretty huge difference, so on a week to week basis it could very easily fall under 50K once more and it wouldn't be too shocking although the holiday months are approaching.
Keep in mind the PS3 was available last year for $500......and again at $500, although this $500 package is certainly more appealing. Its interesting to note it hasn't run out yet like some people predicted might happen in August.
It'll be interesting to see how sales perform if the 80 gig remains at $599 (doubtful).
