Forums - Sales - Anyone here think the 360 will outsell the PS3 3:1 in NA?

i'm not trying to be mean here i'm just gonna point out the obvious
the PS3 is $500 right now, and sales are dropping since the price drop. 130k for august is not very good. I don't see any bonafide killer apps for PS3 this holiday season.

If Halo 3 puts the 360 through the roof and the PS3 has a bad month

Hmmm....

If the PS3 remains at a steady 50k level, then the 360 would have to sell 150k a week. I don't see that ever happening, except possibly Halo 3 launch week. And wait, when did this 2:1 ratio start?

By the way, I assume you looked at the NPD by now but if you didn't, the ps3 wasn't doing 50k a week.  It was overtracked here and they ended up with about 140k over 4 weeks in NPD which is about 35k a week.  Shouldn't be a problem for 360 to outsell it 3 to 1 atleast half of these remaining 3 1/2 months.

Its definitely a possibility for this month and I think more so in October.
