3:1 is a lot, but eather way if things stay the same I see the 360 having a pretty good fall/x-mas, the PS3 could really need that 40gb since the big really big games aren´t coming till spring.

i'm just being realistic, 2 price drops in 1 year is not going to happen. Sony can't afford it, and it just looks desperate. The only reason the first price drop was allowed is because they had so much stock that was costing them so much money they had to clear it.

That's great, since we've already had 2 of those, and with neither of them were they able to match the 360, much less surpass it.

They may or may not put out a $399 PS3 closer to the holidays (which I'm guessing is what you meant), but it'd be incredibly stupid for them to announce it now.
