Last I heard, 1,000 points was the number being bandied about.

No official word on DLC, but I believe many (all?) of Squeenix/Taito's WiiWare games have featured DLC quite prominently, and I'd be stunned if they passed up this chance to milk folks for more money.

my stance on dlc is if it's just costume changes or stuff like that[like outfits] aren't worth it, but some of the gameplay addition add-ons [such as the dungeon pack and the infinity spire] might be worth it if it adds enough gameplay for the price.

i have those two, so i have actually sinked 2100 points into the game, not 1500.

if this is 1000, then i will probably get it.
