EAD 2, EAD 3 (DSi), EAD 4 will all release titles and EAD 5 may also (That would be an expanded audience title or Wii Fit Plus, which is one in the same really..)

Other studios that WILL release tiltes include:

- Treasure
- Intelligent Systems
- HAL Laboratory
- Factor 5

I think the following may also in order of likeliness

- NST
- Retro Studios
- EAD 1 (DSi)
- Camelot
- Hudson Soft

Nintendo's recent failures and immediate future are all about 3 games, pretty much...

Wii Music being based on user-created content, and failing to generate interest.

Animal Crossing being based on new features like Wii Speak and expanded online, with nothing players considered to be new content, and failing to generate interest.

Wii Sports Resort and Wii Motion Plus, which we don't know yet if it will generate interest. It appears to be based on all-new, professional content, and an experience people were not able to have before WMP, but who knows if it just sells into the base, or reboots hardware sales growth.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

@ puffy

we seem to think along the same lines, i keep forgetting ehich titles i predict for 2009 ( forgot about S&P2 and kirby this time)

if were tlaking about nintendo games in general then we will also get games from level 5 and whoever developed M&L3. i dont see intellegent systems title being ready for the west until 2010

I'm guessing Wii is your first Nintendo console?

Anyone that survived the Gamecube era knows what a "game drought" really is.

Not to turn this into a pissing contest or anything, but the Gamecube games came fairly regularly in comparison to the N64 ones...

You speak the truth, but I was going for something more recent, fresh in peoples minds if you will, honestly I don't know what changed from past gens to now, but internet whiners are getting too needy, when I was a kid loving my SNES I knew there would be one maybe two EPIC games in a year and I'd spend the rest of the year playing the games few and far between, and I really don't remember people whining so much back then, more like "oh man I got more hours in Super Mario World then you!"  "Well I beat that stage of Sonic that you couldn't!"  and stuff like that.  I think the internet has regressed the maturity of the gaming community as a whole.

Ah yes! we are now in the "instant gratification" generation.  My father only bought me games for my birthday and Chrismas, and one in between if good grades were presented.

Well there are probably holding their big games for this fall.

Nintendo burst out all their titles too soon, that's why people are acting like they haven't made enough games, when they have made more than ever before. But fear not, I'm very certain that the next burst will come soon. I just hope they regulate it bit better this time, so that people don't go crazy again.

lets wait for Nintendo E3's announcements.

No, it is that in older gens between Nintendo games there actually existed good third party support.

Clearly you never went through the times of the Gamecube, or especially the Nintendo 64...

I did, I do not feel like listing the huge list of great 3rd party games.  During both the N64/GC eras the PS1/2 had better third party support, but Nintendo's consoles still had a fair share of great third party games.

Wii does not.
