The graphics on the game look fine, this really is a first game of its kind though , no other console has made a fps with 256 players, besides the game isn't complete yet so don't judge the graphics just yet , I can see it being one of the most popular online games ever

OT: Graphics don't matter in mulitplayer-focused games. Look a WoW. Who has ever complained about its graphics? (and they are atrocious) Also, somethime check out the textures in Warhawk. *shudder* I actually cringe sometimes. But it still did fine.

Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

I'm not worried one bit about any graphics.
Socom 1 and 2 were probably the best online shooters i've ever played. I think zipper knows what they are doing.

I think mag will feel very impressive when you play it .. saw a developer interview.. it sounds really epic. They mentioned that it was like in call of duty where you could see bombs in the distance and hear firefights.. cept this isn't any AI controlled thing or a backdrop.. all of it'll be actual players fighting

And graphics ? looks pretty damn decent concidering what they are trying to do !

I'm not saying it will be a bad game, or that it needs to look better than Killzone 2.

Bah, I don't care if its ugly as sin. It sounds like one of the more interesting games coming to any console in the near future - taking multiplayer to a new level.

Its only a couple of steps from this that we start to see actual wars being fought fps style on consoles.

to be honest i was very impressed by the art style of the game. the game looks alot better in motion then in a still image. PLuss the explosions are top notch to say the least.

I think they should have named this game socom being as it is by zipper and would have sold better with the brand name. That being said its good to get a new franchise up and running
