No reason to do that. And if they did, its as good as selling it in America anyway. Its a niche game, those who really want it could import it from Canada, whose region is exactly the same.

 

I totally agree - unless NoA feels it's controversial to release a Disaster in America game in America (yeah, I wouldn't get it either) but releasing it in Canada gives a backdoor opening to getting it to the US fans too.

Most likely the retailer has it wrong or it'll be released NA wide.

That would be awesome if true. June would be an awful decision though. They would be sending this game to die.

I think this is a rumor,I think nintendo is waiting for the perfect time to release this title in the US...but I don't know, there is always a possibility...

I hope so, but NOA seems to dislike publishing M-rating games (it was C on Japan and 16+ on PAL). Eternal Darkness was berely advertised by NOA at the time, they refused to publish Conker's Bad Fur Day for instance and don't want to bring Fatal Frame IV here.

Nintendo games typically launch on a Monday or Sunday

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon - Monday
ExciteBots - Monday
Punch-Out!! - Monday
Mario Kart Wii - Sunday (i bought it launch day so I know)
Super Mario Galaxy - Monday

I could look up more, but whatever. But anyways, I agree that it is probably a placeholder.

 




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
