@Xen: KH came out in 2002. Guess which has a bigger userbase: The Wii now or the PS2 in 2002

@Oyvoyvov: Sorry, I should clarify. I implicitly meant (a) console RPG and (b) JRPG. I also personally categorize Pokemon as a genre all on its own (monster raising), so besides the console factor that's why I ignored it.

The ABSOLUTE best option for consumers would be to release it on the Wii, PSN and XBL. There would be a lot of hurdles and it's not necessarily the best option for the company.

The game probably won't sell more than 4M (KH2 sales) and definitely won't sell more than 6M (original KH1 sales).

Demographics tell me the best place or places to put it are Wii or Wii/PS2.

Given that we are probably talking 2011 at the earliest, we're probably talking about consoles we don't even know the name of yet.

It all depends how well would the Disney characters be advertised... because if it would get mainstream on the Wii I could see it doing well over 5 million just like M&S...

On the PS3 it would be a certain 3 million + but IMO it could do 4.

On the 360 alone... bad idea. I dont think that it could pass the 1.5 whitout bundling seeing how some similar stiled IPs like BK did lately :|

i think only proof needed to show this would sell best on Wii is that Lego Star Wars outsold Killzone 2 this week in america. 8th week vs. 76th week or something.

hugely hyped hardcore game on hardcore system vs. kids and adult appeal game on wii.
