I'm not sure which of you is exaggerating more at this point. I actually feel bad for Killzone 2 because PS3 owners have clearly moved on from it when it had so much hype and was such a good game. Now Uncharted 2 is big and Killzone 2 is yesterday's news.

 

Most people were excited just for the sake of being excited at a PS3 exclusive. The people who still care discuss it in the Clan thread, in Online Gaming Discussion.

The same thing will happen, a few months after Uncharted 2 releases. How many 360 fans still discuss Halo Wars?

Kz2 is still epic, and goes down in gaming history as one of the best shooters ever crafted! Put it this way, I spent more time fiinishing Kz2 and playing online than I ever did with halo 3. I only wished half the Halo 3 owners played it as it deserves much, much more.

I'm talking sales wise. I know that a lot of people on Vgchartz still support the game, and I'm glad for that. But I wished it was selling more steadily than it was. I just want Killzone 2 to sell well because it was easily the most hyped PS3 game to date and it had everything going for it, but it still won't be anywhere near to the PS3's best selling games (although I don't want to make predictions just yet).

You never know, Killzone might have an expension pack coming out by then, but we will get actual games though.

I sure hope MS has more than just that.

Killzone 2 with PS3 at 299$ or KZ2 bundled with PS3 at 299$.
That will be enough for this Christmas.

p.s. Left 4 Dead available on PC, it`s not exclusive to x360 platform.
Also, PS3 had more good games last year. By almost all sites PS3 was recognized as a last year winner.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.

Correction.  To X360 owners who don't play shooters.  We all know that Haloz luvers will go gaga when it comes out but for the rest of us, not looking all that great.  And until I play the Mass Effect, which I may pick up this summer if I see it super cheap, Mass Effect 2 is in the same boat.  I am not into scifi RPGs, so I doubt that will make me happy.



I'm just saying...

Well MAG, Ratchet and Clank, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Uncharted 2 are all this fall. Plus God of War 3 and Gran Turismo 5 in 2010 which will crush the 360.

Don't worry, its not just sales for Killzone 2.Its pretty much like Bioshock was for Fps:s in 2007, showed the new way, placed high standarts for every Fps game. Nvm I don't wanna go off topic,

Bur really I don't see that Halo name itself can hugely sell 10m like we saw on Halo Wars tho yes its RTS  but still..
