Lets also not forget that this game is made by a very small team. Its quite likely Sony's main event FPS is going to be outplayed by a 20-30 group of Bungie developers and theres still the main event from Bungie next year as well. It will be interesting to see if Bungie has something to replicate the massive success of the Halo franchise next year as well.

....and as fanboyish as it sounds, it's true to an extent. Just like people bought gamer fuel because Master Chief was on the front...

What makes me laugh about the off-hand Halo diss that some try to deliver is this simple fact...Halo doesn't sell because of hype...SORRRY, but hype might deliver you short term success in week one, but Halo 3 is still DOMINATING online and it's doing a pretty darn good job in sales...that's not hype folks, that's called a DAMN GOOD PRODUCT!

LOL...L4D is a BEAST!  I'm actually going to get it for my PC as well, since some guys I know play it online, and they are roping me into it.  So, It's fun to play split screen on the 360, in my living room on the LCD, and it's also fun to play online on the desktop!  Without a doubt...XBL is the linchpin of the xbox's success, but M$ is also a company that learns VERY fast...

The year of the PS3 will have Uncharted in it. Failing that, it will have Gran Turismo 5. If not, it will have Kingdom Hearts 3.

Formula for year of PS3: Current year + 1

Lol, I kid. I personally thought the PS3 had the best games last year, and that makes it at least half the year of the PS3, right?

how can a company sell more games when the other company has more systems? Think about it.
