I've said it before...FPS are my favorite genre, but I never found the Halo series to be anything special.  Yes, I've played them.  IMO, the Gears series and Mass Effect are FAR better reasons to own a 360.  Not that I won't buy Halo 3 when I finally "Jump in", but the series is embarassingly overrated.



Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

No. But I've played halo one a bit. And I've played Halo 2 & 3 at a friends house for atleast 5 hours combined. I just don't find it that entertaining. Was sorta fun when we played online but that's about it.

I guess you're still playing Dead Rising 1 and Call of Duty 2 then? I'm not trying to say that a back catalog of games suddenly disappears whenever a new year comes....but I'm sick of everyone throwing that statistic around when it includes old games that no one plays anymore.

Compare this year so far. You got Star Ocean (which turned out mediocre), an average RTS that HAPPENS to carry the name Halo, and a bootleg Ninja Gaiden. Sony put out KZ2, which alone is magnificent, inFamous is coming out in a month, and you already know what else is coming this year.....and all you have is an expansionto look forward to. And you want to tell me the the 360 lineup is better? Again:

I don't think there's much disagreement about the quality of holiday lineups, as they stand, we are discussing sales here, and I think Xbot had a point in that thread about how to identify a PS3 fanboy when he said that they always start talking about quality in sales discussions.

ps3 it's region free, you only have to import it! =)

Although Cmoney was arguing in an immature way he had a very valid point backing up his argument with links while you argued completely based off your opinion. I don't really care enough to get involved with that but your down right crazy if you don't think Sony would dish out major money and IP rights if they could buy Halo from MS.

Although , i dont like HALO series, have to admit that no game on the PS3 can compete its fame and fanbase...
