Exactly.
OT. Definitely invest in the Resistance series including Retribution on the PSP if you happen to have one. Some PSN games are good also, Flower is a totally xen like experience and its very different... so yeah have fun with you.

The PS2 is mistaken about the PS3. He may have raised him and taught him his own values, but really the PS3 is the son of the Xbox 1 raised by him. The Xbox 1 and PS3 are so alike its uncanny, and its too bad the PS3 didn't have more of the PS2's character traits rub off on him. Thats the reason why its incest when the PS3 and Xbox 360 get into bed together. Im sure the Wii will do fine, no matter what people say about him he just powers forward without a care.

Yes, but the PS2 wants to badly for the PS3 to be successful, and it just can't. He tries, oh god, he tries, but he needs help. He can't do it alone. The PS3 just wants to make his father happy (I don't think he knows who his real father is). And the PS2 wants so badly to be proud of the PS3, who isn't even his son, because he doesn't approve of the Wii's methodology.
Really, when PS3 looks at Xbox 360, it should be obvious that they are related. They are so similar, yet they both refuse to see it. They are always horrible to each other, and to be fair, Xbox never liked PS2 much, either.
Did GameCube ever have any children? I know his brother, Gameboy Advance, did (the DS), but GameCube died alone, and friendless. Sad, really

Its sad what happened with Gamecube.
I think the reason why the PS2 is so fond of the PS3 boy is that hes a child of his own heart. Sure the PS3 is a slow starter but I think he believes in the untapped potential of the PS3 to do who knows what now, but in the future that potential will be realised.
PS2 doesn't like how the Xbox 360 kids been spoiled by Xbox as well, too many people cleaning up after the messes that he makes or the diseases that he catches. Its like that kid gets away with anything whilst the poor PS3 kid barely catches a break.
Tease.
@ Zerocloud, glad you enjoyed your purchase of the PS3. Hope you continue to find new amazement in their games and system features.

Nobody who's played the game would think it was anything like Tomb Raider. Believe me, the demo is not representative of the game. It's a lot more varied than that. And you don't remember the graphics being impressive? How about, it has colour, unlike eight out of ten HD games? How about, the lighting is better than any game besides Killzone 2? The way Nate's clothes stay wet and slowly dry? The draw distance? |
I remember the faces being heinous (especially the female sidekick... obviously only had brief interaction with her in the demo), the ferns you walk through immediately after arriving looking completely out of place (graphically... like they were just plugged in there from a different engine), and the backdrop of the first real shoot out looking like just that-- a backdrop. Then, I chimney jumped up some old pilars onto a kind of poorly rendered outcropping (it looked like it was jsut sort of anchored to the side of the screen) and punched the guy that had been shooting me from up there. The whole demo felt very boxed in, like Tomb Raider or the opening part of the first stage of Halo 3 (except Halo 3's plants looked like they were rendered by the same engine as the rest of the box you start in).
All in all, it was EXACTLY like Tomb Raider, which is probably a disservice to the game, apparently.
I did think that the wet clothes/dry clothes thing was cool, both in Uncharted and in Twilight Princess. And Tomb Raider. And like nine other games that had already done that.
Basically, the demo did nothing for me, I deleted it and never gave it a second thought until talk of a sequal (to which I was like "Huh? Did that game actually sell?"), and suddenly I noticed everyone raving about the original. I guess I missed out.
You did nail it on the head about the color stuff on the HD consoles, though... Resistance, Gears, Killzone, and a number of others seem to be entirely rendered in brown and three shades of grey.
Believing in the PLAYSTATION®3......IS.......S_A_C_R_I_L_E_G_E
