The OP asked a redundant and over analyzed question and i've had my fill.

Noone really knows what is coming out this year until E3. And most importantly, noone knows if any of these exclusives (Uncharted 2, Halo ODST, Heavy Rain, SC Conviction, etc) will be great games or not.

When PS3 fanboys have a good sales week, it's all about sales.
When PS3 fanboys have a game with great graphics, then it's all about graphics.
Lastly, when PS3 fanboys have a new bunch of exclusives, then it's all about quantity.

I have no complaints with what I have to play right now and I still have games I want but haven't bought or rented yet. I've been saying this since 2006 and it still applies today.

Seeing as Final Fantasy VII was on 3 discs, and Lost Odyssey was on 4, I would say not less than four. I would guess five.

I'm gonna guess 4 with extra compression compared to PS3 version. Unless of course it needs more then 1 blu-ray disc... now that would be insane :P

Well I have a time machine and I already been to E3 and back.  Microsoft have Mickey Mouse Adventures, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Super Jump Rope, Banana Man World, and Halo Beach Volley Ball.  Great games right there.

For real though in my opinion Microsoft won't have anything huge at E3.  I could be wrong though.  They could annouce that they are partner with Gamefly and may show a few surprises like a Gears 3 trailer but I think they don't have anything to beat Sony at E3.  I guess we'll see.

Uncharted 2 and ODST will both be great games. We know this because both of their predecessors (Uncharted and Halo 3) were great games, and because neither Naughty Dog nor Bungie has ever made anything less than a great game.

I am the same. Own all platforms and couldn't give a fuck about the Halo expantion. So, lucky there are heaps of killer exclusives comming too the PS3 and 1 or 2 for the Wii.
