This again? we already had the previous thread about this locked down :P. Anyway it's safer to let kids play with the wii zapper than to let them have a go at paint-ball. Damn it hurts when you het hit :P.

These people should realize that the games tha are made for the Wii Zapper are T and up. If that's the case, they shouldn't be buying their kids those games anyways. They should look at themselves first before blaming other people (namely Nintendo in this case, but there are lots of subjects like this).

Yeah, like in the last E3, where they showed 7-years old kids playing with the Zapper... oh, wait!

That doesn't change the fact that it hasn't been advertised that way...for the Zapper I mean...especially considering it's hardly been advertised at all yet. It's not like Reggie was telling little kids to shoot up zombies during the E3 conference...he was just talking to the general consumer.

Nintendo has always been a family friendly company, and a lot of their games have been targeted towards children. So, most parents have trusted them as the source for their child's gaming. Even if it wasn't marketed to kids, hey, it's Nintendo.

The fact that a company has done something in the past doesn't relieve parent's from the duty of thinking. It's the parent's job to bring up their children, not anyone else's.

i think that this generation of parents are the most pathetic and irresponsible yet.... where i work i have parents who buy grand theft auto for their six year old kids justifying it by saying theira kids have seen it before... if you are a parent grow up and learn what is appropriate for your kid and stop blaming everyone else in the world for your kid being fat, dumb, and unable to tell the difference between reality and a game.
