And you haven't even encountered crystal geckos yet! man i hate those things.

they're pretty much rare spawning geckos that you need to kill to get rare ores to forge better weapons. the problem is, they vanish after a set time if you don't kill them. if you don't kill them, you don't get another chance until you kill another boss in the area. I find them so damn hard to kill as they run away from me and are pesky little buggers.

Alright. I got my copy. I'll start later tonight.

So I need help. What should I be?

It's either Wanderer or Hunter? I dig the sneaky, strong Wanderer but I love that I could use a bow with a Hunter.

I'd go with the Wanderer. Having a ranged weapon as your main weapon sounds like it'd be a bitch. Especially with some of the faster enemies running at ya.

But the hunter also starts with a Battle Axe.

I dunno. It's tough.

Battle Axe? Those things can be tough! The hunter doesn't sound too bad, now.

You do find a crossbow in the very first level, though, so keep that in mind.

Yeah he starts with a Long Bow and Battle Axe.

Wanderer starts with a Falchion and a Dagger.

Stat Comparison.

Vitality = +2 for Hunter
Will = Equal
Endurance = +2 for Hunter
Strength = Equal
Dexeterity = +3 for Wanderer
Magic = +1 for Wanderer
Faith = +1 for Hunter
Luck = +1 Wanderer

You find bows/crossbows throughout the game. Even if you don't start with a bow it's easy to get one if you want to.
