I love this game, for me it's the best jrpg of this generation. It took me 45 hours to beat the game and now I'm playing it again since when you finish the game you start from the beginning with all your previous stats (new game +). Now the enemies are a lot tougher with a few strikes you are dead.

Here two pics of my character, the first one is my habitual equipment (quite strong and agile) and the second one is my tank equipment.

Oh, and MM, i found out there is a +/- 10 level restriction for coop. So if you wanted to play with me you'd have to be atleast level 25 (as i'm 35). Well... get to it.

I'm just a knight..I dunno. I might start over with magic since I suck at being a knight lol. It annoys me that I have work in a half an hour though...:[

Ok, I just don't want to be the same class as you guys. We'll need to work together to beat this one.

Beat the first boss!  It only took me two tries (the first being last night)!

And while I thought I had plenty of turpentine, I was wrong, and two more playthroughs of the first level didn't help me find any, so I spent all my souls on like 5 firebrands.

I went into the final boss, spammed all my firebrands to get the things off him, then weaved my way through what was left to get in my hits.  It took a lot of sidestepping around, but I got 'im! 

I also got my body back and now have like 5k souls!  :D

And now I'm stuck.  I went back to the Nexus, and the freaky chick told me to go upstairs and talk to the maiden.  i went upstairs and wnadered all around, but can't figure out what I'm supposed to do.

@outlaw/axum: I am also a knight.

Man, I love this game.  The combat is great.  It's an insanely tough game, but it feels tough for a reason.  It's not cheap, and it instead encourages to really learn the (rather simple) battle system.

This is what a true hack n' slash should be.  It's not a bunch of flashy combos or button mashing. You can attack, attack hard, block, push, parry, and run away.  Using these effIctively leads to victory.

Haven't decided. But not a Knight. If you're a magic guy then I'll be the sneaky guy.

If you go for the stealthy type, make sure to always be on your toes. Given how much I've died as a knight, blocking will probably get you no where. Just keep moving around!

I will! I just have to start the game when I get home from work!
