The guy on the stairs dissapeared as well. Ok so all is well, asides from the guy selling magic. But i had no use for him, as sage freke does the same. Or am i missing something?

@Somini
Sage Freke sells different spells than that guy. He's the advanced magic teacher, while the other one teaches basic spells. You won't be able to learn them until NG+, and you'll need them if you want to complete the Scholar Gold Trophy (All Spells + miracles learned).
Don't worry about it yet, since you can only get that trophy starting from NG+++, as there are many spells that can only be learned from Demon's Souls that have multiple uses, even though you can only choose one per NG.

lestatdark said: @marciosmg Don't kill him straight away once you find him in 3-2. Release him, finish 3-2, then when you go back to Nexus, confront him and kill him. That way you'll be able to salvage his armour without worrying about Weight Limit. You should get a hint about Yurt's appearance on Nexus, when you go back from 3-2, and find two previously unknown NPC's lying dead on the first floor. Yurt will be there, hidden in a small crevice on the right side of the first floor. |
Thanks. I will do that. But before I finish 3-2, I gotta get the key for the 2f in 3-1.

Thanks for explaining lestatdark. But that's weird, cuz up until now, Freke is selling everything that guy is selling and more of course
lestatdark said: @marciosmg I did the same thing on my NG+ run in the game, because I was using light armour :P on my first time around I was using a very Heavy armour set, and got blown up by a ball and then ended up being gobled up by 4 slimes XD I laughed so hard :P I had luck with the Hardstones in 2-1, I found three miners with sacks that gave me a huge amount of Hardstones, enough needed to go from Bow+3 to Bow+7 immediatly xD Also, I'm using the Purple Flame Shield+1 and a Winged Spear +3 or a Mail Breaker +7 as my main attack weapons, no spells yet (i'm only saving up for Warding though, I think it's the only necessary spells for me, at least until I get to NG+ again). |
Where do you find the guys with sacks? I only need 2 more upgrades for a +10 purple flame. D:
Prediction:
TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.
Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).
First Versus gameplay this year.
@Somini
You're right about Freke, I just checked on the Wikiadot xD http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/npc-freke Sorry about that ;)

@Skittles
They are randomly found on 2-1. There are two main places in which they appear. In the screen before the first fog gate, which has two Fatman Guards, and on the screen before you activate the elevator to reach Blacksmith Ed.
They are a one time occurrance though, meaning that they will appear once per NG.

Demons Souls got the GotY award for Best RPG 2009 and best New IP from Gametrailers. :]
I beat 3-2. Yay! It was a lot less annoying than 3-1.
Now I have 1-1,1-2,2-1,2-2,3-1,3-2,4-1,4-2 beat.
Now I think Im going for 2-3.
@marciosmg
Do 2-3, it's the easiest stage in the game, and the easiest boss as well :P I laughed at how pathetically easy the Dragon God was, even though the fight was supposed to be more of a Puzzle than a Combat per se xD
Oh, and his souls gives you the best AoE offensive PvP spell in the game, Firestorm :D
