I personally LOVE the Oddworld series and wish they'd announce a new title...Does EA still own the rights? They screwed Strangers Wrath release so badly it looks like the franchise is dead.

I never played strangers wrath because Abe wasn't in it. How did they screw up the release?

For me, Strangers Wrath was the best Oddworld creation(even though I have mad love for Abe). EA barely bothered with any promotion at all. There was a pretty public war of words between Lorne Lanning(Mr.Oddworld) and EA and he left videogame production completely. Apparently he's ready to return to the world of Oddworld so we might see something pop up out of nowhere in the next year or two.

I must check out Dead Space btw.

 

Ewww, strangers wrath was the best? I think Abe's Exodus was the best (did I spell it right?) I hope he returns.

*sniff* I miss Abe

Franchise from this gen? Uhh... Lets' see... Ace Attorney doesn't count since it came on the GBA, I guess, so here:

1. No More Heroes
2. Gears of War
3. Assassin's Creed
4. Lost Odyssey (Would be higher if we knew it was a franchise, might just be a one-off game after all)
5. Disaster: Day of Crisis (Though this probably won't turn into a franchise, so Boom Blox instead.)

1. Dead rising...... Hurry up Dead rising 2
2. Gears of war..... Hurry up Gears of war 3
3. Left 4 Dead..... Hurry up more Left 4 Dead DLC
4. Crackdown..... Hurry up APB (And crackdown 1.5 or Crackdown 2 of course)
5. Saints row..... Saints 3 was announced..... whoopee

Just missed out but still a great franchise...... Condemned...... Condemned 3 surely?
