I only read the title because of that ridiculous wall of text, but here are two points:

1) I agree. PS3 should be your only console

2) gamestop will give you less. Gamestop is the devil. You would get more on Ebay

You might want to read the OP...

OT: Not much... might be less than 120 for the used 360

Ohhhh... Sorry... I'm not good on picking this kind of stuff up these past few days...

You know I know you asked us not to to ask you about this but seriously why not sell it on amazon.com or ebay. Why would you rather not you'll make almost twice the money? Are you not familiar with selling stuff online or is it you need some quick cash?

It's called being lazy.

That exactly.  I got the Wii for free anyways so I really don't care if I make money on it.

And people were right with the prices-- $80 for the 360 plus another $18 for my orginal 20 gig hard drive (I've had a 120gig for a while, just never got rid of the hard drive).

$130 for the Wii with all the stuff so I had plenty to just upgrade my 360 which is exactly what I did.

The annoying thing was that my Wii had its PIN set and Gamestop absolutely will not take the console if that is set because they can't format it.  I finally figured out how to get the master PIN by calling Nintendo up so Gamestop could reformat it but man that was a pain in the ass.

-edit-

And todays 360 makes the fifth console I didn't pay a cent for.

  1. Original Xbox-- Best Buy forgot to charge me for it.
  2. 80Gig BC PS3-- cleaning out my DVD collection so used the money from that to buy the PS3 plus the games
  3. 40Gig non-BC PS3-- Christmas bonus from work two years ago, sold it almost immediately.
  4. Wii-- won it in a raffle last night and got the money I paid for the raffle back by selling one of the cards I won
  5. Xbox 360 Arcade-- Traded in my Wii that I won and my old 3+ year old Xbox 360

So you're selling all your non-PS3 consoles?

badgenome is one of the funnier posters

I don't blame you Twesterm i would do the same thing because i am also lazy.

Well actually no i wouldn't. I'd make my girlfriend sell it on ebay for me and give her a cut.

What happened to the whole idea of balancing the cost of the console with a number of games that you wish to buy? IT WAS A LIE?!?! ;_;

Anyway I think you are ashamed at the fact that ghostbusters doesn't have 4 player online Co-Op and you're buying a new 360 to ease the pain.

@Khuutra, I added you, but it said that you were already there.

It's not a lie, just if I get a console for free I obviously don't care how many games it has.  :-p

And for anyone that doesn't remember-- in order for me to buy a console, it must pass this:

(price of console) <= ((number of games I want that are released or near release) * (average price of games for that console))

i know a RROD 360 goes for $40 at gamestop. And i think i heard someone say $120 for a working 360 and its probably a little more for a wii. Sorry i cant remember right off the top of my head. just bring them in

Long Live SHIO!

Why not just buy an HDMI cable?

Because my 360 was from January 2006 and didn't have an HDMI port?
