EA has decided to push back the release on the PC version of Battlefield 1943 to focus on the console version. The PC version will be nothing but a cheap port of the console version.

So from this day forward I say good bye Battlefield. You were a great franchise. I will also say f*ck you EA for screwing your most loyal customers who have been waiting for the next true installment of the Battlefield franchise. I had plans of buying the Spore expansion too but screw it. From this day forward I will not buy a SINGLE game published by EA.

Now I understand why Will Wright left you. Your greedy money hungry pigs that would rather release complete vile garbage then something your original fanbase desire.

Well i loved Battlefield, but going back to WWII again!!! Damn I don't think I would even want to play that, I mean I might, but still its been overplayed and they aren't going to do much better than 1942.

Oh and PS if you liked spore and wanted the expansion what the hell does that have to do with battlefield, just because the same people published it dosn't mean the same people made it.

Not to steal your birthday cake but there are so many things wrong with this thread.

First, you are judging the quality of a game before it is released because of what it is published for.

Second, you are judging the quality of a game before it comes out based on what franchise it belongs to. 

Third, you are going to boycott possible great products because a company made a business decision you don't like.

Fourth, why would you want to buy a battlefield game based on a night time soup opera.

its the fact EA keeps screwing gamers over. It doesnt matter what platform. Look at Madden 2010 for the Wii. If I want something from EA ill get it another way. EA just wont get a single penny from me.

The games aren't even out yet and you're bashing them. It just seems to me that this is a hate on against HD consoles. Instead you should be hating on PC pirates that have basically made the PC an afterthought for many big budget games.

Pah batttlefield is better on a console anyways.

To me PC gaming is about the most unenjoyable thing ever (sans RTS's), its boring and console gamepads are a million times better than a mouse and keyboard

hahaha, stfu. You obviously have NO idea wtf your talking about and neither do you john. There have been plenty of major titles on the PC that have been developed on the PC. And BF1943 isnt even a major game, its a small game which has 3 levels in it. Such a massive game there as it will be on XBL for 1200 MS points.
