I prefer the PS Store to the Marketplace. The Marketplace does a good job of marketing a handful of games, but if you want to look at the entire catalog you have to use some arcane interface. You need to scroll through the library alphabetically. The PS Store has a logical layout with pictures of every offering. Also, I prefer the original games offered on PSN. The 360 Marketplace has a lot of arcade "classics", but they don't interest me. That being said, the puzzles in Braid were outstanding.

im okay with it but i do want more Ps1 classics, if they only release Legend of the dragoon or Xenogears or any "Classic" ps1 game then it would be better than the market place, what i dont understand from sony is why they are limiting themselves? i understand they want them to play on psp aswell but LOTG is an RPG and doesnt need any right analog nor an R2.

the interface on PSN is far better IMO... i find the NXE more horrible to navigate the the old layout

I have both, but I can only really compair the EU PSN store and Marketplace.

Content wise the Marketplace wins hands down. That said I prefer the layout of the PSN store, but I think it only works because of the lack of content. If you tried to do a PSN style layout with the sheer volume of XBoxLive games and community games it would not work very well. I do think that the Marketplace is a bit harder to navigate then it should be though, as it feels a bit maze-like sometimes.

I have to add though that while the I think the content of the Marketplace is much better, this does not mean I think the PSN store's content 'sucks' it's just lacking compared to the Marketplace.

Theres nothing wrong with it. Its easy to use and nice to look at. Could do with some more ps1 games tis all

Im sorry i meant i love the PSN and its store . The games are wonderful, theres a wide selection of PS1 classics, the downloads are quick, and Flower is the next best thing after sliced bread

PS store BIG advantages over Xbox marketplace:

1. Prices in real money.

2. Buy stuff and SHARE it with up to 5 PS3s (this point is definitely a killer advantage if you have friends).

3. Video Store available to anyone (Netflix only available to Gold members).

4. Cool stuff like the free PULSE. Qore magazine is sometime given away for free and it always packs great stuff nonetheless.

PSN is great! I use there video service all the time, there are a ton of demos, games, themes and content like qore and pulse. The layout is very good.

My only gripe is with the video service. It needs to have the HD version of every new release. Right now, some will come that way but a very good percentage will not. They will usually come a month later in HD. They would make a lot more money from me at least, if they had everything in HD.
