No, it's not "too bad". It's just something you don't like. It's pretending your opinion is fact that makes you wrong. Even if others share it, it's still an opinion.

Correct, it's an opinion.  It may be an opinion that a good portion agree with, but it is still an opinion, and I'll obviously admit to that.  What is not an opinion, is that the game has indeed lost textures and graphical prowess, while gaining other arcade effects, all of which don't match what the Madden franchise up until recently set out to do.  And if you or anybody else want a more arcade-like style Madden, it's an opinion to think that that may be the right way for the franchise to go.

I'm just here to state the fact that that's not what made the series so great up until this point, and in my opinion it never will either.

I expected a lot worse. They just made some guys huge and some guys really skinny. Makes it easy to know who's fast and who's slow, like in NES Ice Hockey. Looks smooth and nice. Too bad I don't care for Madden games anyway.


Does anybody else think Peter Moore looks like he got waaaaay older really fast? I hope they feed him at EA. Or maybe MS gave him Botox and now he's relaxing and aging naturally with his healthy new life? (I kid, I kid. No offense to the EA/MS/botox fanboys out there.)

 

Me too. I thought the graphics looked really nice and shiny too. Great shadows as well.

EA have said that the look is inspired by Team Fortress 2.. A FPS with this kind of graphics, would you have thought that could have worked? It did.. So lets just see how this one goes yeah?
