Legend11 said: It's in EGM's October issue. Also oddly enough they gave Wii Fit game of the show, but said they were torn because some parts about it are fun (bob soccer balls and perform ski jumps) and others feel like a chore (yoga and push-ups). They were also disappointed that Kid Icarus wasn't at the show, apparently it was/is rumored to be in development. Oh and they liked Mario's Bee Suit but they wish it did more than give him flight. |
Thanks for doing that Legend, when i asked for the source it was because i didn't want anyone here to go through the trouble of typing it all, so thanks very much for that.. I guess it'd be too rude to ask about the other systems now :P
It is good to see they liked Bee Suit Mario, I am still worried about how that'll control (and will be until i prove myself wrong when i try it), it does have other aspects like honeycomb climbing and junk, would be cool if they added some sort of sting attack or something of the sort though (i haven't heard of any 'attacks' yet for either suit)
Yeah some games will definitely improve. For example they put Skate under "Average" but on Gamerankings it's getting between 81%-90% in review scores..
2 years ago they gave metroid prime hunters a "terrible" first look based on the E3 preview... and that got decent/good reviews.

That's because the controls were all different, and you had to tap the screen to shoot.
Mario and Sonic is in the same vain. It's the kind of game where controls will be tinkered with probably right up until the end, so it's hard to say what the game will be like till it comes out.
Interesting ont he "good" rating for De Blob. I'm quite interested in that game.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.
Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
While it's not hard to believe that the game could go from pathetic (E3) to really good (Leipzig) from a few different builds, this really isn't a let down even if it does end up bad. So sorry to ruin your lets rain on Nintendo's parade day and bait fanboy thread but I never really had high hopes for this game in the first place. I'm a little upset at the prospect that MySims might be bad but this game was already assumed to be a joke until proven otherwise.

Hmm, that list has me a little curious. There are a few games that seemed to be placed too low and there are a few that seemed to be placed too high (and this purely going off of what I've heard everyone else say).
Yeah...NFS: PS, WWE wouldn't go on a "good" list in my opinion; Rabbids 2, Z&W should be "good"; and I'd assume M&S would be "average"...
I think they're being too harsh on some games and too forgiving on others...
LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
People are looking forward to Mario and Sonic at the Olympics?
Ba-dum-bum, PSSSH!
