Forums - Gaming - Sony: Wii owns the closet

This made me smile and nod... Because it reminded me of school... Insults for no reasons... Usually the bullies have something missing in their lives so they take out their anger on others...

I personally keep all the consoles near the tv, used or not.

Around the Network

Thats exactly what I do. When I'm done with my Wii, I put it away, and I hook up my PS3. My PS3 is a multimedia device, so I can surf the web, play games, watch movies and download plenty of content. The same goes for my 360. Thats why my PS3 (or 360) is always connected to my TV and internet.

Sony needs to stop running their mouths and concentrate on the PS3. Because right now people are playing the Wii and the 360 while the PS3 is in the closet still in the box,not open, and has a pile of dust on it.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Sony owns almost nothing. Their sales are pathetic. Their profit is pathetic and their quotes are even more pathetic.

They own the sceptic tank in the console market atm.

What the hell is he saying about sales being up anyway? They're down...

Some day I hope to have a reason to plug my Wii back in.

Punch Out Wii  might be worth dusting it off for.

And if this thread is any indication...You and I are not alone.  Nintendo fanboys might get upset at that notion,  but I don't think it's entirely that unrealistic.

Some people will never understand. The Wii and the lack of an ethernet port limits the functionality. Not to mention it has no video library, or DVD playback.

People can rag on Sony for this all they want, but I doubt they are speaking completely out of their ass.  I'm sure they've done research/surveys to see how the typical gamer plays.

If I were asked the question?  I only touch the Wii occassionally to play Smash.  I've debated on selling it because it just doesn't get played unless I'm looking for something 'different'.   I know a lot of people in the same boat with it.  It essentially gets put away in the closet more often than not. The PS3/360 gets a lot more usage.  If it's not for games, it's for movies.  If neither,  I can browse the web,  watch videos, etc.

^ Yeah, they've done so much research that they have better results ( for themselves of course) than what other proffesional companies specializing in tracking have said.

Get a grip, it has already been proven that the wii gets the most time out of all play sessions in america and if that is any indication, the world as well.

It's unbelievable that someone like you would even dare make a stament saying that you know anythiong because you know less than 50 people that do the same like you while there are more than 48 million wii owners out there. You and your actions are the minority(at least in the US), not the other way around. Get it into your head already.

If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...

Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

Actually I'm pretty sure the latest NIELSEN report showed the Wii got the least time of all 3 consoles.

It only was on top for most played console when you factored the fact that there were a lot more Wii than Xbox360 or PS3...

You can read the report if you don't believe me...

So looks to me like you are the one talking out of your ass..

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
