Today we found out the FF13 demo SOLD 400K + & took PS3 past 50K

My question is if a mere demo did this

WHAT SW will the actual GAME SELL & what hardware spike could it give to our fav console PS3

MY PREDICTION:

FF13 SW -- 1.5 Million Week 1

PS3 HW -- 120K

Wow, this is actually kind of ridiculous.

I mean it's a demo. The game might do 1.5m+ first week, as for PS3 sales I can't even imagine.

That depends when it release of course. If this demo + movie was released in december the PS3 could have been past 100k.

Btw people didn't bought just a PS3 for the demo but also for the limited FFVII AC PS3's!

Making limited special PS3's really helps Sony they should do it more.

Well based on that info I would say 200-300K consoles just in Japan. For a demo and a cool PS3 bundle, that is just amazing. I think I only predicted about 30-35k for this week damn I was off

EDIT:  Final Fantasy XIII will easily do 1.5 million first week
