Forums - Website Topics - How do they know if you have an alt account?

It's not like you tell them or anything. How do they find you?

Annoying trolls have a certain posting style/they are idiots who give themselves away. Also they can check the I.Ps if they have a static I.P/Log into a new account right after the old one is banned on the same I.P.

no, it's simple really, as soon as you become a mod on VGC, you gain the ability to read minds and foresee the future.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

you should make a alt to find out.

i did but i didnt work out to well

Exactly... the problem with many posters alts is that they basically advertise them as alts from the get-go, if they don't give it an incredibly simiilar username then they will still post the same kind of stuff, people will cotton on and accuse them of it in a thread and it usually ends in a ban.
