why are they rating a preview. Regardless i think this game will have its issues but it should be better than any current shooter on the wii. Hope this one sells good

I don't own a Wii so I have no interest in this game...But I wouldn't really worry about the "generic and grey" thing...  Its basically the cool thing to say about all shooters these days.  Apparently all shooters need to be neon glow in the dark, alternate reality, mind warp games to be good.  Generic and grey could esaily be translated into another solid addition to the FPS genre, but I think lately it has been the cool thing to do, to trash first person shooters, and the easiest most cliche way to do that now is to call them generic and grey.  "Generic and grey" is apparently the ultimate disrespect that can be given to a shooter.  But I would take a fun generic and grey shooter over a neon glow in the dark mind warp shooter that is no fun.

I think what would be the ultimate shooter for reviewers these days is one that does'nt have any guns, and there is no shooting....Now that is fresh and original!

From what they said about the controls I am not sure they played it, (and I am not saying this in a "how can they suck!" biased way, I mean the way they phrased the bit about the controls as if they hadn't tried them, but were hoping they were better than other shooters)

Yeah, their "hype thermometer". It's how hyped the guy writing it is about the game.
