Erm, 450k first week (Uncharted Beta)
1.85M LTD
Tease.
I don't see it selling too well, but have good legs
I for one wasn't too excited about the game, looked cool, but nothing unique that would make it sell extremely well
Then I played the demo, that game rocks wow... im definetly buying it
wish more people out there can play the demo
Well, you can add one more sale to your predictions, I just bought the game along with the Guide (I like buying them for the art work and it brings a sweet poster with a map of the city on the other side)!!! Sinse this is a prediction thread I'll add my 2 cents, I'll probably end up being inFAMOUS for my prediction but what else is new, I say 500,000 first week world wide!!! I haven't played it yet but I'll be on it in about an hour, I can't wait to sink my teeth into it WOOHOO, happy gaming ladies and gentlemen!!!

I thought it was only for Terminator Salvation. Anyways, I saw the movie and I almost missed the trailer and I knew it was coming, so I would imagine it had no effect. It wasn't even during the movie trailers (which would make sense), it was during the commercials before the trailers.
first week: 50-100k
Lifetime: 750k to 1 million.

I was the same way... I was very "wait and see" until a few weeks back. Now I'm excited to pick it up.
Still, I can't help but think with the underwhelming reviews and the mixed bag of trailers (some did the game a disservice), that sales will dissapoint. This will be another letdown for Sony.
I'd say probably 200,000, being generous, for the first week. That said, if word of mouth is kinder than the inconsistent reviews, your lifetime estimates could be spot on.

Same here to - Two months ago I wouldn't have cared - but now I'm definetly buying it
It was the same with Killzone 2 for me which I wasn't interested in at all until about a month before it came out

The demo pretty much cemented my purchase as of now.
the uncharted 2 beta cemented my purchase

underwhelming reviews?
it was reviewed a 9.2/10 on IGN and 9/10 on Gamespot... those are the only two sites that matter. Dont think anyone visits JoesGamingSite.com and places like that which metacritic gets its scores from
