They already have a mario, zelda Smash Brothers, paper mario, and metroid game this gen (zelda is arguable, but there is certainly one coming), Kid icarus is on the way, the maker of starfox has no interest in making another one right now, Punch out has been brought back from the grave, I don't see the problem.

I agree with this post down to one point.

Who CARES that the original developer for Starfox doesn't want to make another? Does he REALLY have a say in it? If Nintendo wants a game made for a franchise that THEY own, it will get made. And, if that guy works for Nintendo still, then he'll REALLY have no say in whether or not he works on it.

Seriously. People keep taking his viewpoint as "OMG NO STARFOX THIS GEN NOOOOOOOOO!111111111~1!!!" when really, he's got absolutely no control over it whatsoever.

Sorry Vagabond. That's not directed solely at you; you're just what set me off. =|

He's not even the original developer. He's just a guy who worked on... I think, 3D modeling? He has no say whatsoever what happens to the franchise and he never did. He just helped out a bit with it.

Nice. Proves my point even more! Seriously, I hope he DOES still work for Nintendo first-party, and I hope Ninty decides to start work on a new Star Fox Wii with his dev team... just to spite him. :p

Nintendo should remake Shadow of the Empire. Even though it's not a series it was still a great game.

lol. Pretty sure he works at a third party studio called Q Games, though.

...in which case he's not even directly affiliated with Nintendo and REALLY doesn't matter. Which proves my point, but makes it less fun.

However, unless he's the boss at that company, he still doesn't really have a say and will still have to work on the game if his studio is hired by Nintendo for it.

Point is, he's a nobody and it really, really doesn't matter what he says, so I'm not sure why such a big fuss came out of it. =p

Because some moron decided to call him "Star Fox Creator" when he isn't anything of the sort.

On that note, though, I think he is the boss at that company. Not that they're a big company anyway, but yeah... He has no say whatsoever in what happens to Star Fox, there's really no connection between him and the franchise. And even if there was, he didn't work on the best game in the series - Star Fox 64 - so I wouldn't really care if he was in, regardless.

gol these hating nintendo is getting rediculous. i mean you ever wonder why there games are SO DAMN good its because they don't rehash a game and release it every year. they make a whole new game from scratch it seems.

i mean look at difference between mario 64, sunshine, and galaxy. or from ocarina of time, windwaker, and then to twilight princess.

they aren't just a same game with polished graphics like so many damn games seem to all be now adays. And thats just talking the change in art style, not to mention the games are like 40 hours long and not a 6 hour game.

How dare you include Hey You Pikachu! with the likes of SM64 and OOT?! :o

Besides Mario, Zelda and Pokemon, how come we don't get any Donkey Kong games or Luigi games or Kirby games. I think everyone can agree that they would like to see another Luigi's Mansion.

I love Luigi but since when Luigi games are Nintendo's best selling IP? It's news to me!

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Luigi's Mansion did sell a fairly big amount, more than any recent Kirby game anyways.
