I don't trust anyone. lol. I goto Metacritic. Read why the top reviewer gave it a high score and why the bottom reviewer gave it a low one (maybe read a middle one too). Then I go to Amazon.com and read what people who bought the game thought.

Ultimately, if the game is fun, I don't care if it's flawed as long as it's provides enough hours of enjoyment to justify it's price tag. Some I wait to become cheaper since the value proposition isn't there yet (Tenchu, Madworld), some I'll get right away (GTA:CW).

Geoff Keighley on Gametrailers is the best.

But I dont think he writes many of the reviews himself, he just reads them lol.

Probably Gametrailers or IGN. Though, I don't agree with everything they say.

Yes, but it does damage the reputation of the site when you have rubbish reviews like that CoO one, I am still shocked by it. Anyway, my favourite reviewer is really me, I particularly respected my review of Uncharted, it was fantastic....

Anyway, the review which I actually bother to read/watch are IGN, gametrailers, OPM UK and Yahtzee's (well I suppose they are more for entertainment)

I don't really have one. I've yet to find a reviewer who reviews games in the way I like to do so.

Jerry Holkins/Tycho from Penny Arcade comes close, but he's not actually a reviewer.

I don't follow them (because they come out a bit late), but VGChartz is pretty good (spot on for Uncharted and KZ2, exactly how I felt about those games).

I like IGN most of the time, except they have tendency to give really high (9+) or average low (6 and below), I'm sure there are plenty of good not great games (7.5-8.9) out there. Also, I think they give inflated reviews to hyped games that don't suck (note: difference between living up to the hype/being awesome and not sucking)

But the one I trust the most is Gametrailers, they almost always get it right (Halo 3 was a tad high though).

zero punctuation because he's funny and no one else . most of the time i just pick up random games or games i now i will like i don't need a reviewer to tell me what games im going to like

after playing the game myself, I agree with the review. It really only deserving of a score somewhere between 7.9 - 8.3. Thats all I'd give it.
