Because Gran turismo is the best racing sim in the world, thats why it needs a prolouge

thats an overstatement.

i think the reason is a combo of arrogance, and cashing in before its ready

im a maniac for modern warfare, but i wont buy a prologue of modern warfare 2 . . .

okay name 1 racing sim better than Gran Turismo. how's that an overstatement?

Heh I also believe it's due to arrogance.  Get over yourselves, PD, if I wanted to play a racing sim that was "obsessively technical" and "meticulously refined" then I would get in my own, real life car and drive around!

Money and to keep people hyped.

While F-Zero GX is obviously not a technical racing sim it is a hell of a lot more fun than GT.

Truthfully, in my opinion, it's to see how many suck... err... people, they can get to pay full price for a demo, esentially making you buy the game twice, or charging you $120 for the game. They have to split it into another "game" to make you think you're getting your money's worth.

Truth is you are delusional and have no clue wtf you are posting about.

- GT fans want it and it shuts them up from whining about GT release and massive delays.

- That demo is more a full game the most games out there, it better quality and value then 90% of games released.

It costs 120 dollars for two games in the states? Jeez, most I ever pay for my games from any shops here in Ireland is 53 euro, and I picked up GT prologue for 25. Also calling it a demo is a major understatement, that game has alot of content and re-playability, especially if you want to beat all the S-class races or buy all the cars.

Easy money
Its the best demo ever.
Gran Turismo is the best racing game.
It keeps gamers satisfied for a while until GT5 is released.
