Forums - Gaming - "Breaking the bank" + "MS moneyhat" = Another PS3 exclusive gone?

Interesting theory.

MGS4 would really be an "ok whatever" announcement for the reason many other people have stated which is the game is over a year old. The next Kojima project being multi-plat is nothing but a lock on, would not be surprised is that was the case.

The big "WTF" moment for me personlly is if Versus goes multi-plat simply because it will have been literally a month before that a trailer was released with "PS3 only WW".

Either way harality will ensue no doubt.

Agreed, if MGS4 goes multiplat now no one is really going to care. Too little too late.

I doubt Versus will go multiplat. I'm just hoping for JRPGs and Ninja Gaiden 3.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Not many people are thinking outside the box here.... if all they could come up with is MGS5 (no word of yet for any platform) and FF13 VS (They have 13, why waste time on a FF spin knowing that most of them turn out to be minor sellers and not AAA titles.)

It could be Kingdom Hearts III or another of S-E vast list of franchises, could be Biowares currently untitled next gen game, maybe a Namco bandai game, maybe the peter jackson Halo game, Capcom game maybe (Onimusha is a MIA this generation thus far).

With that breaking the bank comment, Major Nelson also talked alot about "further out into the future". And given Sony's jab at MS lack of 1st party support, there's always the chance that MS has bought a developer. Seems like pretty good timing to me (that Sony would take a jab now, whilst MS clearly does have a weaker set of 1st party devs).

The one announcemt logic can rule out is KH3, thats not happening until Versus is released and no way would Nomura let someone else touch his baby. Flagship KH3 being made by another team besides the KH team is just not going to happen, don't even need to be working at SE to know that.

A new first party team would be great, my guess is that MS loverboy Itagaki has formed a first party team. Sony would not know about that though so it has to be something else which caused Sony to spout rubbish.

If Kojima has anything to do with it, MGS wont be 'the game' that goes to the 360. Final Fantasy - I couldn't care less.

Im in such a blessed position as all the exclusives I really care about are owned/made etc by Sony.

' Sony doesn't make titles. They are lucky they were able to acquire devs that have similar styles that have what we've come to know as "Sony style". If Sony made titles, a good portion of them would probably flop.

It could be Versus XIII, the game of which i dont care about anymore, if not maybe a new "FromSoftware" game?

Looks at FF13V picture in sig.

Uh....?

It can´t be Killzone, it´s an IP owned by Sony.

They could release a big game very heavy on HW for XB360 too just to burn a lot of the vulnerable units still around and making some money in the process while MS loses it   And maybe being moneyhatted by MS too!
