True, but across the board Wii games have been doing equal to or better than their Gamecube sequels, which is especially impressive in light of their shorter time at market...and the fact that they're still selling at $50, whereas Gamecube titles had the advantage of Player's Choice.
I'd be stunned if Pikmin 3 didn't at least match the original's lifetime sales in a short period of time. And if Nintendo ever does Player's Choice (unlikely) it should beat most, if not all, of those.
