Bale would be a great Snake, he already looks like him. He also speaks in the accent/voice of his next role for months, so we shouldn't worry about how he sounds.

Foe the haters a good MGS movie would not be all that hard to do. Ever watch a James Bond or Bourne movie ?
It can be a very profitable franchise if done right, and MGS has enough boss's for a few movies.
Speaking of Christian Bale, check out this movie:

He had to eat an apple and a can a tuna as his daily meal for 4 months to get as thin as necessary! The movie has a great story .

Yeah, we were already talking about that movie. Apparently, it's not really his best movie, but a good one. I haven't seen it yet, I'm going to watch it either tonight or tomorrow night.
I loved American Psycho though. And of course, Batman rocks.
Has anyone seen 3:10 to Yuma yet? That movie was so great...Christian Bale and Russell Crowe as enemies working towards a common goal essentially... I saw that last week, now I need to see Shoot Em Up.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

3:10 to Yuma was a great movie. Russell Crowe was such a beast, and Bale played his part very well, too. Very much enjoyed that.
Now, I saw Shoot'em Up last night. What are your expectations for this film? Because, depending on how you go in will ultimately decide how you walk out and feel about this movie ...

Crazy action? Clive Owen being a badass? Clive Owen's a great actor, but him in this role is a bit ridiculous I'd say, and Paul Giamatti as the bad guy seems pretty funny too.
I heard it's more of a 7/10 movie...but I do like mindless shooting sometimes. I've been told 3:10 to Yuma's the better movie of the week, but I do like the two main guys of Shoot Em Up...

Crazy action, oh hell yes. It's the most over the top action film I have EVAR seen. You will laugh at the ridiculousness of some scenes. It is definitely a popcorn flick. Classic R film, "Adult situations, profanity, nudity, and violence." lol It's jam packed with one liners, too. And it starts off fast. I admit, it's a fun movie, just as long as you NEVER take it seriously.

That's good. This summer has been good to me.
I skipped Spiderman 3, Pirates 3, Live Free or Die Hard, and a couple other sequels I'm sure. I want to see them sometime, but honestly, I don't care enough to see them right away.
I did see Transformers (better than I expected), Hot Rod (which was actually freakin amazing), Superbad (nonstop hilarity), Simpsons (I stopped watching regularly years ago, so this wasn't that rehashed to me anyway), 28 Weeks Later (not as good as the first, but still good)...I'm sure I saw a few others anyway...but overall this summer of movies wasn't too bad to me.

okay...speaking of christian bale and his movies...top recommendation to The Prestige.
Live Free or Die Hard was actually a good addition to the Die Hard franchise. And Maggie Q is in it, too. Skipping Pirates and Spiderman was possibly smart. I wasn't overly impressed with either of them.
I love movies, so I can see almost any kind of movie, no matter how bad. For example, I'll be going to see Dragon Wars this weekend lol
And, I give thumbs up to the Prestige. Compelling story and excellent twists.
Edit: Post Duo Millenium @_@
