They will be exactly the same

And as many a learned developer have confirmed, it's easier to port from PS3 to 360 then vice versa, if it works on PS3, it'll fly on 360.
Assassins Creed, UT3, Virtua Fighter, Skate 2, The FOrce Unleashed and Devil May Cry 4 are testement to that.

Yet in every IGN head to head the game which uses the PS3 as lead platform is usually the better one
Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.
"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Got any recent high-profile examples? Assassin's Creed, Virtua Fighter and Devil May Cry were released pretty early so the devs didn't have that much experience yet. Unreal Tournament uses Unreal Engine 3 which is almost always better on the 360, and it was also released much later on the 360 (more time for the 360 version). Skate 2 and The Force Unleashed are pretty low-profile releases anyway. I'd say they didn't have that talented dev teams. Anyway, apparently CoD4 is pretty much equal on both platforms, and please note it didn't have a lead platform, and if there are differences, they are pretty minor. Burnout Paradise is slightly better on PS3. My point was that it's easily possible for the PS3 version to be better if the conditions are right. Oh, and on Beyond3D's forums, some guys seem to be thinking FFXIII PS3 demo is 720p and 4xAA, though they also seem very uncertain (and 4xAA sounds pretty unbelievable for a PS3 game). Doesn't seem too bad so far.
And in case you were wondering, I don't think the 360 version is going to suffer because because it's a port (sort of). It's simply not going to end up looking much, if at all, better, and might even end up looking slightly worse. Anyway, the differences in realtime parts ought to be pretty insignificant.
Right, firstly, FFXIII was PS3 exclusive right up until E3 last year. Yes, SE had probably dabbled with the 360 with regards to FFXIII, but up until that point they had been developing the game with the PS3 solely in mind. This is different compared to other games with PS3 lead seeing as they were developing on both platforms but decided to lead with the PS3 seeing as it's the most sensible way to get similar looking and playing games.
SE games are notorious big and I can see this posing a problem first and foremost. Not don't get me wrong, I doubt the differences between the 360 and PS3 versions will be huge, but have a 2 year development on the PS3 first and foremost before even touching the 360 version will have it's positives.
Also don't forget that the 360 and zoned PS3 version won't be done until the Japanese version is complete. Add to this the statement that the demo released this week is supposedly 50% of the performance they expect from the PS3 once the game is released.
They must be differences unless SE pull back on what they intend doing to make sure both look as good.
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

Skate 2, Ghostbusters is only showing 360 footage despite leading on PS3. There aren't really any "high -profile" games leading on PS3 anymore, most developers switched off from that 18 months ago. This is like the last one.
Even so, i'm not sure what you're getting at, Crystal Tools is a multiplatform engine and unlike those games before the 360 version will get a year of development all to itself.
It may not be any differences aside from multiple disks, as 4 dual-layerd DVDs at 7.5 gigs per disk, (as I heard Microsoft games don't use the whole 8.5 gigs), still you are looking at 29.5 gigs that is almost 30 GIGS, 30 gigs is enough even for a final fantasy game.
This is my 313th comment, coincidence I think not, LOL.

Square Enix said the game will be 720p/30fps and... GT5P is 4xAA with 720p and if you use 1080p then 2xAA

Those games are not high-profile. Final Fantasy XIII is. I thought PS3 was going to be more and more often the leading platform? Since when have they switched to something else? I thought EA said they were going to be switching to the PS3 as the lead platform last year? Anyway, what's your point? This isn't related at all to what we were discussing.
Crystal Tools is a multiplatform engine, true. However, it doesn't mean this game wouldn't have been designed with the PS3 alone in mind; it only means making the 360 port is going to be easier. Still not understanding what I mean? I'm countering what you said: you said the 360 version is going to be better.
There should definitely be a difference, the big question is how much of a difference, will the PS3 version completely pwn the X360 version or will they look equal?
Only time will tell.
